Belconnen BVN

This commission by BVN of the new Belconnen Police station in Canberra is an outstanding design. Overseen by principal Matthew Blair and practice director Wayne Henkel and his team in the Canberra office, the building is a free flowing, light filled and interactive workplace.

Having people in the shots, using the space as it was designed is how I like to shoot my architecture projects. It poses a slight problem when they are police and when some are undercover, but they were all good-natured and willing to be models.
